(you might want to check out this if you dont know anything about the mafia but i haven't started it yet. i just linked it here so i wont have to go back and edit this later.) The year is 2022, and the majority of organized crime is controlled by the Duran Syndicate, run by Feliciano Duran. The Duran Syndicate was created when Feliciano's father Robert killed John Gotti and took control of all the mafia families in america. When Feliciano killed a judge, it is up to his forensic scientist sister Artemisia and a detective named Pheobe to investigate and uncover the corruption of the Duran Syndicate.

Artemisia Duran is a biological evidence technician at the Washington D.C. Police Department, and she's Feliciano's sister. She was a precocious programmer as a teenager, so her father, Robert, made her hack websites for the Duran Syndicate when Tony [REDACTED] wasn't able to. When she was 17, she got caught hacking the FBI crime database and got arrested, along with Feliciano and Robert. Artemsia got a plea deal which allowed her to avoid prison time in exchange for testifying against her family memebrs in court. She got a degree in forensic science and got a job at the police department, where she met–and fell in love with–Phoebe while working on the murder of the judge. (the judges name was karl melvin btw.) She absolutely despises Norbert Siegel and thinks he is stupid (he is though). Her IQ is 140 and she enjoys reading about poisons in her free time.
